My name is Joelle Bantu, born and raised in Cameroon, and daughter of a Tradition and Wisdom Keeper.
I grew up in a country where dance is the fabric of every day life: we dance to celebrate, we dance to mourn, we dance to heal, and we dance to commune. I started performing at 5 years old, but my journey back within really started with my breast Cancer diagnosis in 2022 :
To heal I had to go back Home, and I had to ground my Self Home. Home is the Body
